2024年，中国春节被联合国教科文组织认定为“人类非物质文化遗产”，这一认定进一步彰显了其深厚的文化底蕴和全球认同感。2025年春节前夕，一场精彩纷呈的文化盛宴在尼日利亚首都阿布贾的中国文化中心火热开启。这是北京“欢乐春节”活动首次在尼日利亚举办。

In 2024, the Chinese New Year celebration was officially designated as part of UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, an embodiment of its cultural roots and worldwide recognition. With the 2025 Chinese New Year approaching, a gala of cultural festivities took place in Nigeria China Cultural Center in the capital city of Abuja, marking the debut of the Happy Chinese New Year celebrations in Nigeria.

本次“欢乐春节”活动由中国驻尼日利亚大使馆、尼日利亚联邦艺术文化旅游和创意经济部、北京市文化和旅游局共同主办；北京市海外文化交流中心、尼日利亚中国文化中心、尼日利亚国家艺术团共同承办；尼日利亚中国总商会协办。活动以“春节庙会”展现“中国年，在一起”的核心理念，精心设计了“文艺演出”“非遗展示”“美食广场”“文旅推介”“助兴演出”“游戏互动”等六个板块，吸引了多国驻尼使节、尼社会各界代表、在尼华侨华人等2000余名参与，共同感受中国春节带来的温暖与欢乐，分享这一盛大的文化庆典。

The event was jointly hosted by the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Nigeria, Federal Ministry of Art, Culture, Tourism and Creative Economy of Nigeria and Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, organized by Beijing Overseas Cultural Exchange Center, Nigeria Chinese Cultural Center and National Troupe of Nigeria and co-organized by Nigerian Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Highlighting the theme of “Get-together for the Chinese New Year” in the form of temple fair, the celebrations consisted of six modules, namely “Art Show”, “Intangible Cultural Heritage Demo”, “Gourmet Court”, “Culture and Tourism Promotion”, “Entertainment Show” and “Interactive Games”, attracting over 2,000 participants including diplomatic missions of various countries, representatives of all social sectors as well as overseas Chinese in Nigeria, sharing the heart-warming and joyful festivities of the Chinese New Year as a grand cultural celebration.

Convergence of Cultures Showcased in Art Performance, Symphony of Harmony Flowing on Shared Stage  

文艺演出精心设计《金蛇贺岁》《魅力北京》《美美与共》《奔向春天》四个篇章，来自中国和尼日利亚的艺术家们携手同台，让到场观众充分感受到了中国文化的优美典雅与尼日利亚文化的欢快悦动。中国驻尼日利亚特命全权大使于敦海、北京市文化和旅游局副局长徐振涛与尼日利亚联邦艺术文化旅游和创意经济部执行常秘拉法尔出席活动并致辞。

The finely curated art show included four chapters: Happy Chinese New Year with Golden Snake, Charming Beijing, Beauty in Diversity and Towards the Spring. The inspiring moments co-created by Chinese and Nigerian artists culminated in a symphony where the graceful elegance of the Chinese culture converged with the cheerful vigor of the Nigerian culture. H.E. 文艺演出在《金蛇贺岁》篇章中拉开帷幕，《春节序曲》《生肖献瑞》充分展现了春节与生肖蛇的文化内涵，《魅力北京》篇章中，民乐《夏日皇宫》《北京欢迎你》诠释了北京的历史文化与热情好客。在《美美与共》篇章中，中尼武术《功夫情》由北京与阿布贾两地武术演员共同演绎，以武会友，淋漓尽致地体现出两国人民水乳交融的兄弟情谊。中国文化中心汉语班的学员们表演的《上春山》，可爱的演绎让熟悉的旋律在异国他乡悠然回荡，拉近了两国人民的心。文艺演出在中外音乐艺术家联奏中落下帷幕，现场不断响起雷鸣般的掌声及欢呼声。

The art show was unveiled in the joyous notes of Happy Chinese New Year with Golden Snake, where Prelude to the Spring Festival and Zodiac Animal Signs Bringing Good Fortune showcased the cultural significance of the Chinese New Year and the zodiac sign of Snake. In Charming Beijing, the folk music performance of Royal Palace in Summertime and Welcome to Beijing brought to life the historical and cultural roots of Beijing as well as the warm hospitality of its people. In Beauty in Diversity, Love for Kung-fu jointly staged by martial art practitioners from Beijing and Abuja was a vivid depiction of the brotherhood of the two peoples. The familiar melody of In the Spring Mountains specially presented by Chinese learners in Nigeria China Cultural Center brought people’s hearts closer than ever as everyone was deeply fascinated by the soulful yet playful tune. The entire show drew to an end in a musical ensemble of Chinese and Nigerian artists, greeted by thunderous applause and cheers from the audience.

  北京文旅资源推介会以主题推介及“你好，北京“图片展呈现。尼日利亚艺术家协会主席苏莱曼,向在场的尼日利亚旅游从业者详细介绍北京丰富的文旅资源。并诚挚地邀请尼日利亚的旅游从业者将北京作为游客推荐的重要目的地之一。希望通过双方共同努力，促进两地旅游业蓬勃发展，推动双方在文化旅游领域更进一步的交流与合作。

The promotional campaign of cultural and tourism resources of Beijing was launched in the form of a photo exhibition. Muhammad Sulaiman, President of the Society of Nigerian Artists, addressed the tourism operators attending the event with a detailed presentation of the abundant cultural and tourism resources in Beijing, extending a sincere invitation for Nigerian tourism operators to recommend Beijing as a highlighted destination. Expectations were enthusiastically expressed for a booming tourism business in both Beijing and Abuja through joint efforts, hence facilitating further exchange and cooperation in cultural and tourism sectors between the two countries.

A Feast of Culture and Gourmet, Chinese New Year Temple Fair Brings a Global Outlook for the Spring Festival

美食是文化的重要载体，20余家精心布置的美食摊位琳琅满目，香气四溢，吸引着众多海外华人和尼日利亚友人前来品尝。剪纸、京绣、书法、茶艺、中医等非遗展位更是吸引当地民众亲身体验，非遗技艺不仅展示了中国传统文化的博大精深，更让尼日利亚民众在零距离互动中，感受到了中国文化的独特魅力与匠心传承。

Gourmet is a much appreciated medium of culture. Visitors from both China and Nigeria to the Temple Fair were immediately attracted to over 20 gourmet stands generously offering a mouth-watering experience loaded with Chinese delicacies. At the intangible cultural heritage exhibition booths, local visitors were deeply intrigued by the richness of traditional Chinese culture embodied in colorful arts and crafts from paper-cutting and Beijing embroidery to Chinese calligraphy, tea art and traditional Chinese medicine, etc., offering a genuine experience of the unique charm of the Chinese culture and craftsmanship in an immersive and interactive way.

中尼两国有着深厚友谊，2024年中非合作论坛北京峰会期间，中尼两国正式提升为全面战略伙伴关系，为两国多领域深度合作开辟广阔前景。此次“欢乐春节”活动，以美食为纽带，以文旅推介为桥梁，以文艺演出为窗口，多维度、深层次地让尼日利亚人民近距离感受到了中国文化的魅力,促进了中尼双方文化交流与旅游合作，推动中尼友谊不断深化。

China and Nigeria have cherished a profound friendship, announcing to elevate the bilateral ties to comprehensive strategic partnership at the 2024 Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) held in Beijing, thus creating vast potentials for in-depth bilateral cooperation in multiple sectors. Bringing people’s hearts together through gourmet, culture and tourism and art show, the “Happy Chinese New Year” events brought the unique appeal of the Chinese culture to the Nigerian people, boosting cultural exchange and tourism cooperation while fostering ever-deepening friendship between the two countries.
